For twenty-two years, I taught economics to teenagers. I loved my years in the classroom, but quietly, I carried another dream with me — one I kept telling myself I’d pursue “someday.”

I had always loved clothing. Not trends or dressing to impress, but those special pieces that make a woman look in the mirror and simply feel like herself again.

Nine years ago, my husband Tom looked at me across the kitchen table and said, “Maybe someday is now.”

So I took the leap, left the classroom behind, and began a new chapter with Marys Calgary.

What started as a small dream became more meaningful than I ever imagined.

Now I’m sixty-three, and after nine wonderful years, it’s time for me to retire.

Not because something went wrong.

Because something went beautifully right — and I’m wise enough to know when it’s time to let go.
